About SAESL

A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.

 

As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

Job Responsibilities

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on all order-related matters, including delivery commitments, pricing, engine status, and commercial enquiries.

·       Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support business objectives and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

·       Develop and manage commercial support packages to address customer requirements and resolve business issues.

·       Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment collection, warranty administration, and resolution of invoice-related queries in accordance with contractual requirements.

·       Represent customer interests in cross-functional meetings, ensuring customer requirements are effectively communicated and addressed.

·       Conduct regular business reviews with customers to strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities for service improvement.

·       Coordinate and manage ad hoc customer requests, including line support, parts trading, and other operational requirements.

·       Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational improvements.

·       Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, business performance, and operational efficiency.

·       Champion Customer Business Excellence by promoting customer-focused practices across the organisation.

·       Provide operational support and deputise for the Assistant Manager/Manager as required.

·       Perform the duties of the Gate 0 (Induction Gate) representative to ensure induction readiness and support smooth engine induction activities.

 

Qualification / Experience

·       Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related discipline, with 3–5 years of experience in the aerospace industry or a similar environment.

·       Experience in customer service, customer support, or commercial operations within the aerospace industry is an advantage.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications; experience with SAP, Power BI, and Power Apps is an advantage.

·       Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.

·       Proactive team player with a high sense of ownership, accountability, and integrity.

·       Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·       Adaptable, resilient, and driven to deliver quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
